Autism through the eyes of Josef Schovanec
Success story – Born on 2 December 1981 in Charenton-le-Pont, Josef Schovanec is a French philosopher, writer and traveller. Diagnosed with autism at the age of 22, he is a passionate advocate for the inclusion of autistic people. Aged 43, he works at the Catholic University of Louvain, in Belgium, where he serves as a pedagogical support advisor. On the occasion of Autism Awareness Day, he was in Mauritius where he led several conferences. We had the opportunity to meet him

Riya Ramjattun brings honor to her homeland
Miss India-France 2025 – Her name is Riya Ramjattun, she is Mauritian, and she was recently crowned Miss India-France 2025. A victory marked by immense emotion, but also great pride for her country of origin, Mauritius, which she represented with grace, intelligence, and commitment. This title, beyond the crown, embodies the success of a determined young woman, connected to her roots, open to the world, and resolved to make her voice heard for causes close to her heart.
