On July 18, 2025, a ceremony was held in honor of Edvine Quirin, born on July 14, 1925, at the Jean Lebrun Municipal Hall in Cassis to celebrate her 100th birthday. During this event, the centenarian was honored with several gifts.

Born in Rose-Hill, she is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Duc. She grew up in a family of six children and took care of her siblings after the death of her mother when she was only five years old. In February 1949, she married Georgie Charly Quirin, a shoemaker. Together, they had nine children, of whom four daughters and one son are still alive today. She is the grandmother of 19 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

Edvine Quirin describes herself as a cheerful woman who enjoys spending time with her family. She attributes her longevity to her faith in God and the comfortable life provided by her husband.
